Write and Elevate
Commit your writing to the Lord, and your message will touch people’s hearts.

I’m perched above your page today,
To cheer you in my parroting way.
Don’t fear the words that hesitate.
Be sure to use what will captivate.
A tiny thought may seem too slight,
But give it time and plenty of light.
The seed you plant may germinate,
Then bloom with truth to illuminate.
When tangled plots begin to bind,
Stay calm and use your writer’s mind;
Don’t peck the page or aggravate,
Just pause, untie, and extricate.
Some may squawk, “Not good enough.”
Some days of writing may feel rough.
Let faith arise and dominate,
As courage calls you to create.
So contemplate. Then start again,
With hopeful heart and ready pen.
Let purpose rise and motivate,
Then lift your words and elevate.
Your story will touch many a weary soul,
And help broken hearts become whole.
So let God’s grace within you radiate.
Your words are sure to resonate.
As Quill, your poet, bright and true,
With feathered faith, I’m right with you.
So spread your wings and celebrate—
Write and rewrite, revise and dedicate.
