Treasure of Truth

I rejoice in your instructions like someone who has found a great treasure.
Psalm 119:162
Treasure of Truth

I don’t need a shovel, a map, or a chart,
To find the best treasure right God’s heart.
No pirates, no puzzles, no X marks the spot,
His Word is the prize, and I love it a lot.

I dance when I read it. I sing when I hear.
Each verse is a jewel that brings wisdom near.
No gold could outshine it, no diamond as bright.
His truth fills my soul with pure joy and delight.

So while others may dig for their silver and gold,
I’ll treasure God’s Word and the truth it has told.
It sparkles with wisdom. It’s shiny and bright—
A lamp for my feet and a joy in the night.
