Lord, Where Are You?
How long will you ignore me, Lord? Surely, not forever. Isn’t it time that you showed your face?

Oh, Lord, are you there? Do you hear when I cry?
I’ve called out all day and looked up to the sky.
How long will you wait? Will you hide from my face?
I’m lost in this dark, and I long for your grace.
I knock and I knock … will you open the door?
My heart’s growing heavy. I can’t take much more.
But deep down, I know—though you feel far away,
You’re closer than breath and you hear when I pray.
So even while silence is all that I hear,
I’ll trust that you’re working and always stay near.
Your timing is perfect. Your wisdom is right.
You’re painting the dark with promises of light.
