Power of Patient Persuasion

Persuasion prospers the patiently planned,
Not pushed by pressure or painful command.
Persistent purpose prepares the way,
Producing progress from day to day.

Passion may pulse with powerful fire,
Prompting prayer for a prized desire.
Passion performed without patient pace
Can perish before it finds its place.

People possess preconceptions deep,
Protected principles they often keep.
Patient persuasion politely proceeds,
Pausing to plant plausible creeds.

A persuasive person proposes with care,
Providing proof that is plain and fair.
Persistent practice and peaceful tone
Help planted possibilities to be grown.

Proud proclamations may briefly impress,
Yet permanent progress requires finesse.
Patient persistence, properly applied,
Produces results that permanently abide.

So pause when progress appears delayed,
And press on prayerfully, unafraid.
For patient persuasion, paired with grace,
Promotes peace in people’s hearts and place.
