Never Give Up
Don’t be discouraged by the silence of writer’s block. A breakthrough is coming as long as you keep trusting the One who gives you words to write.

Soaring writers wake up early with stories to write.
They brighten up sections from morning till night.
New questions come up as their paragraphs grow,
And many more ideas line up in a colorful row.
They look words up when meanings seem blurred,
Then dress them up so the message will be heard.
They speak up for truth and take up its cause,
Then clean up the clutter and fix every clause.
They work up a hunger for language and rhyme,
While stirring up plots one small word at a time.
When trouble shows up and their confidence drops,
They pick themselves up and pull out all the stops.
Others might make up an excuse not to start,
But writers opens up doors to every heart.
They calls up friends when encouragement’s due,
For friends can lift up both the writer and view.
When storms fill the sky and rejection feels near,
The clouds will clear up, so keep courage, not fear.
Old doubts may dry up when you practice your skill,
And broken drafts shape up through patience and will.
So sharpen up pencils and straighten up your prose.
Then wrap the work up so the final message flows.
Give readers a reason to offer thumbs up—
Keep writing, dear writer, and never give up.
