Crescendos of Praise

I will never let go of my hope in you but will praise you more and more. Your wondrous deeds are more than I can count, so I will tell stories of your righteousness and deliverance all the time, every day.
Psalm 71:14–15 The Discussion Bible
Crescendos of Praise

The stars above proclaim God’s mighty hand.
His wisdom shines across the sea and land.
Yet many praise only the works that people do,
And miss the One who made both them and you.

We read of parted seas and lions’ dens,
Of faithful saints whom God still defends.
Those stories stir our hearts and light the way,
To trust the God who works in us today.

The disciples went with wonder in their eyes,
And watched God’s power cause the lame to rise.
They came back filled with joy beyond compare,
Amazed that divine strength was working there.

When trials come and clouds conceal the sun,
We still trust the Father’s will is being done.
For every test and trial he allows us to face,
Can draw us nearer to his strength and grace.

A thankful heart finds treasures every day,
And sees God’s fingerprints along the way.
The more we praise, the more our eyes can see,
The countless gifts he has given so faithfully.

So let each heartbeat be a song of praise,
A grateful echo through our fleeting days.
For those who seek God more and more,
Will always find more reasons to adore.
