Caesarean Section
Please extend my greeting to all the followers of Christ Jesus. Those who work with me in ministry send their greeting, as well as the believers in Rome, especially those of Caesar’s household.

The term may come from Latin, it’s true,
From “caedere,” meaning “cutting through.”
But we can laugh at the comic connection
Of dear Julius’s grand “Caesarean Section.”
The Caesarean Section, or so legends say,
Was where Julius built in Rome one day.
In his palace of marble, he said with affection,
“The finest homes are in the Caesarean Section.”
The senators groaned as the tall columns rose,
With statues, fountains, and a theater for shows.
“It’s only one section,” said Caesar with pride,
“And Rome will be greater when I’m done inside.”
So doctors may differ, but history grins
At where the strange terminology begins.
No nursery, no surgeon, no medical direction—
But just Julius Caesar and his luxurious section.
