Tragedy Turned Over
Our momentary affliction is trivial by comparison when it produces in us the great glory that we will have forever. We pay no attention to the clearly visible troubles that surround us. Instead, we focus on the unseen eternal realities that are known by faith.

In Christ every sorrow is shaped into song,
Although the nights might feel heavy and long.
For what looks like endings, like loss or defeat,
Can bloom into triumph at Jesus’ own feet.
A tear may be falling, a heart may feel torn,
A dream may seem shattered, a hope badly worn,
Yet faith has a vision that eyes cannot see—
A victory to be born out of our misery.
“Oh how can it be?” cries the troubled-out soul,
“When pieces lie broken and life’s out of control?”
But faith softly whispers, “Just wait… you will see.
There’s more to this story than what seems to be.”
Out of the ashes, Christ ignites a flame,
Turning loss into legacy, sorrow into gain.
He weaves every heartbreak with purpose and grace,
And puts the unseen triumph into tragedy’s place.
So trust when it’s dark and the light feels far gone,
For night can’t remain. It gives way to the dawn.
Faith in Christ is the lens we use to see
That triumph can come from tragedy.
