The Joy of Saying Yes
To experience God’s promises, we must always say yes to him, just as Jesus did. For when we are in complete agreement with his purpose, we share his achievements and glory. For God has empowered us together with Christ to fulfill his purpose. He has labeled us as his chosen servants, the presence of the Holy Spirit equipping us to do his work.

When God says, “Come,” and we agree,
He opens doors that we couldn’t see.
His perfect plans begin to shine,
As his great purpose comes in line.
The Savior walked the Father’s way,
And chose his will through every day.
He said yes through all the joys and pains,
And won eternal, never-fading gains.
When we embrace what God has planned,
He gladly gives us a helping hand.
His victories become our own,
As seeds of faith are fully grown.
He calls us chosen, people set apart,
And writes his words upon our heart.
His Spirit comes with power and grace,
Equipping us to finish the race.
We dare not try to labor on our own,
For Christ in us needs to be shown.
The work he starts, he will complete,
Placing our doubts beneath his feet.
So gladly answer, “Yes, Lord. Yes!”
And know his ways will be the best.
For those who walk where he has trod
Will share the glory of the living God.
