Prayer for the Greatest Wealth

Lord, you already know my need,
Before I form the words I plead.
So teach my restless heart to see
All that needs to change in me.

I ask for focus, strength, and sight,
But you always know what’s right—
A deeper trust, a patient heart,
And grace to do my present part.

I don’t know what lies ahead,
But I can follow where I’m led.
Your Word will light the step I take,
And guide each choice I must make.

When hardship comes, help me recall
How your goodness still surrounds it all.
In the darkest nights, help me see
How faithfully you walk with me.

Keep pride from saying, “I am fine,”
As though strength was only mine.
Search every hidden thought in me.
From any hindrance, set me free.

Teach godliness and calm content,
To treasure all that you have sent.
For every gain and victory I see
Is born through your sufficiency.

Make me a vessel, clean and true,
Prepared for what you want to do.
Remove the limits I would place,
And fill my life with truth and grace.

I need not know what comes or when,
For you will guide me there and then.
My greatest wealth will always be
Your loving presence close to me.
