Where You Belong

Whatever you do for people, give your best effort to please the Lord, knowing that the greatest reward comes from serving him. People who do shoddy work will get no respect. — Colossians 3:23–25 The Discussion Bible

Whatever you do—be it big, small, or wide,
Do it with heart and with God as your guide.
If you’re sweeping a floor baking a pie,
Do it for Jesus, not just passin’ by.

Don’t drag your feet or give half of your best.
The Lord sees it all—your work and your rest.
He’s watching with love, not looking to scold,
But waiting to give you rewards made of gold.

If you paint, if you teach, or maybe you bake,
Always give your all—for the Kingdom’s sake.
Don’t grumble or mumble or cut corners down low,
Because shoddy won’t shine and respect won’t grow.

The prize isn’t riches or stars by your name.
It’s serving your King without seeking fame.
So whether you’re building or humming along,
Serve Jesus with joy, and you’re where you belong.
