The Lord has a voice that is mighty and true,
When he speaks, his Word will always break through.
It flies through the air. It sails on the breeze,
It lands where it should but won’t always please.
His Word has a purpose, a task to fulfill.
It won’t miss its mark. It won’t bend at will.
It’s never to be forgotten, never to lead astray—
It comes at right on time in the most perfect way.
His Word has the power to break every wall.
Like rain that will water, it helps us grow tall.
It softens hard hearts and brightens our days/
It works in our lives in wonderful ways.
So trust in his Word. It will never fall flat.
It’s stronger than this and greater than that.
Whatever God says will surely come true.
His Word always does what it’s sent to do.
