You dream of the stories your heart wants to tell,
Of novels that sparkle and poems that swell.
But when words won’t come and ideas seem few,
Be thankful. God’s can write along with you.
You stare at the blank page and groan, “Oh dear me.
My mind’s out of ink, and my heart’s out of tea.”
But gratitude will turn all that gloom into gold,
And warm your fingers when they’ve grown cold.
God is your Author who should guide every phrase,
As he edits your chaos and brightens your days.
He has wonderful stories that will stir your soul.
He’s smiling as you write, making you whole.
Don’t envy the writers with fame on the shelf.
Their path isn’t yours. Stay true to yourself.
Success isn’t found in applause or in pay,
But it’s knowing your words matter today.
Your gift isn’t random. It’s part of God’s plan,
To touch the hearts of every man and woman.
So pick up your pencil, your keyboard, your pen,
And thank him for giving you stories again.
Each rewrite and struggle, each edit and tear,
Is proof that his Spirit is drawing you near.
Write with thanksgiving, with courage and grace,
For gratitude shines as each word is placed.
When doubt whispers, “You’ll never be great,”
Remember that God’s timing is never too late.
A thankful heart blooms where discouragement dies,
And faith turns a sentence to truth that still flies.
