Some say the truth can bend or sway,
But truth stands firm, both night and day.
No argument can make any truth new.
It simply is what it is—forever true.
We choose either to embrace or deny,
To face the truth or to chase a lie.
The well of truth is like water near,
But will we drink or let it disappear?
God’s Spirit whispers, “Here’s the way.
Walk in the light. Don’t drift away.”
But if we stop our ears and close our eyes,
We will trade God’s truth for Satan’s lies.
Our pride might shout, “I know what’s best.”
But pride won’t bring our hearts to rest.
It hides the cure and conceals the view,
Keeping us blind to all that is true.
At the fork ahead, two roads we see:
One leads to chains. One sets us free.
God says, “Choose life. The choice is plain,”
Yet some will choose great loss, not gain.
Satan would say, “Go your own way.”
But that road will darken, day by day.
Jesus is saying, “Come walk with me,
And truth will shine in you eternally.”
So keep your candle burning bright.
That flame of truth will pierce the night.
For when you shine, the world will see,
God’s truth is alive in you and me.
