The Lord says, “Remember. Think back. Rewind.”
Don’t let his great works slip away from your mind.
Look back to the start, to the days long ago,
To stories you’ve heard and things you know.
For he is your God. There’s no other, you see.
There’s nobody else who can set you free.
He made the world, all the mountains and trees,
The fish in the sea, and the buzzing of bees.
He rescued and guided and parted the Red Sea.
Remember his great wonders. Look back and see.
Don’t ever forget. Don’t let your memory fade.
Think about his love and the life he has made.
God is loving and mighty and patient and true,
Remember his kindness and all he can do.
He is faithful, never changing, forever the same.
The “I Am” has no rival. Remember his name.
