Oh, “Someday” is special—at least so we say,
A magical, misty, and thoughtful kind of day.
We tuck it away in imagination’s deep nook,
Like a dream that we save in the back of a book.
“Someday,” we say, “I’ll pray more than before.
I’ll love a bit deeper, forgive even more.
I’ll serve with intention, rising at God call,
Chasing the big dream that’s pinned to my wall.”
But “someday” is a tricky and slippery thing—
Floating like a balloon on an invisible string.
Unless we reach out and pull that string tight,
“Someday” will drift right out of our sight.
So let’s pick a day from this week—Monday or Tuesday,
Or any day—a whichever-suits-you specific weekday.
For “someday” must land on a date we can see,
Or it won’t ever happen for you or for me.
“Someday” won’t come just by wishing it true.
It comes when you set a date for what you’ll do.
So grab it, declare it, and mark it down clear—
Make “someday” this week, not a future year.
For God-planted dreams don’t grow in delay.
They bloom when we trust him and start right away.
“Someday” will becomes real in the most joyful way
When we choose it, and use it, for today is the day.
