We should consider the writing steps that we’ve made—
Not leaps into glory, just whatever bricks that we’ve laid.
For growth isn’t fireworks, trumpets, or cheers.
It’s faithfulness practiced in minutes and years.
We should stop all the comparing—the measuring race.
Nobody else’s walk should have our rhythm or pace.
A unique writing voice really should be our intent,
For God writes different stories with each instrument.
So bless fellow writers with truth that is kind.
Speak courage aloud. Leave fear far behind.
Keep writing. Keep growing. Keep doing your part.
We should keep laying bricks as proof of our heart.
