When your thoughts dance and your brain’s in a fog,
And ideas keep hopping around like a runaway frog,
Just pause and say, “Lord, would you brighten my view?”
He’ll whisper a thought that’s creative and new.
Confusion sneaks in when you don’t know the way,
And it sits in your mind like it’s planning to stay.
But God sweeps it out with a soft, gentle breeze—
And suddenly your choices feel much more at ease.
When three doors appear and they all look the same,
And you’re scared you’ll pick wrong in this writerly game,
Just choose what’s pleasing to God, and he’ll be a part,
For he will guide your writing as he guides your heart.
It’s time to quiet the noise. Let the stillness begin.
Let the chatter go out and God’s whispers come in.
For clarity blossoms when writers choose to obey—
And confusion drifts off like a cloud blown away.
