All Things Made Right

When all things have been made subject to the Son, then all things are made subject to God who is over all. — 1 Corinthians 15:28

When all has been placed at the feet of the Son,
And every last battle of pride has been won,
Then all of creation, both near and far,
Will shine as bright as the morning star.

The trees will all clap for the crown of the King.
The stars will bow down, and the oceans will sing.
The mountains will tremble. Creation will cheer,
When God’s perfect presence fills every sphere.

The Son will give back what the Father began,
Completing redemption’s most magnificent plan.
No power or dominion will ever reign as tall—
For God the supreme Creator is far above all.

No shadow of sorrow, no tear left to cry,
No question of who, or of how, or of why.
For love will triumph. His people will say,
“Our God is above us and within us today.”

So when life feels tangled, uncertain, or small,
Remember who governs the finish of it all.
For one day his glory will fully abide,
When all is gathered and placed at his side.
