If we were to look back at the whole windy week,
We’d see some brave words we’re still learning to speak.
Perhaps in our writing, we had fears that said no,
But encouraging comments have still helped us grow.
Our writing desires are not something small,
For God’s calling can keep us standing tall.
Our seeing, our sensing, our what-ifs and whys,
Are seeds meant for more pages, not empty sighs.
We’ve looked at some ways to get the words right,
And would love to write until day turns to night.
Our fears aren’t the finish, and doubts aren’t for gloom.
They’re signs that our talents have improvement room.
So sit. Write some more. Keep coming back through.
Write kindly. Write bravely. Write honest and true.
Our growth isn’t magic or looking for applause.
We’re just faithful to write because God’s our cause.
With perseverance though the week, we have progressed,
We’re not perfect. Not finished. But we’re faithfully blessed.
Keep the pages churning in your courageous flight.
Let the wind of the Spirit shape your growth as you write.
