The Lord loves a heart that is eager and true,
That works with a grin and sees tough things through.
Rejoice in your trials. Don’t sulk or despair.
But hope, and endure, and keep lifting in prayer.
So when folks are hurting or stuck in a mess,
Be quick to be kind and want to say yes.
With diligence, patience, and joy in your soul,
