Fully Capable

Inspiring
The most dangerous of all God’s gifts is our ability to say no to him. Freewill gave Eve the power to choose what she thought would be good for her and allowed Adam to prefer his relationship with his wife above his relationship with God.
We are fully capable of evil, but we need not worry when we depend on Christ, who makes us fully capable of all that is good.

In all situations, no matter how little or how much I have, I must depend on Christ for my strength and guidance.
— Philippians 4:13

Ten Thoughts to Ponder

  1. To see the fulfillment of God’s perfect plan, I need to abandon my imperfect plans and follow him one step at a time.
  2. To help the multitude, we must care about the individual who is not ourselves.
  3. When people believe a mirage, they will pursue it with the vigor of a man in the desert, dying of thirst.
  4. Like a natural pearl, the beauty that God wants to create in us takes time.
  5. The process of God’s way in our lives contains pains that turn to pleasure when his purpose is fulfilled.
  6. Miracles are proven when God’s intervention is undeniable.
  7. A bargain is a waste of money if it gives me something I will never use.
  8. The improvements God helps me make today will benefit me for the rest of my life and beyond.
  9. When everything working together for good isn’t good enough, we have nowhere else to turn but to the Lord.
  10. Without encouragement, we will most likely fail.
