When branches are healthy and bursting with fruit,
The whole world can see that the tree has good root.
Jesus said it plainly: “Now here’s what you do—
Bear plenty of fruit so folks know I’m in you.”
Fruit isn’t lost in the fridge or stuffed in a drawer.
You kindly serve others with love evermore.
While patiently waiting and bubbling with grace,
You brighten the room with the smile on your face.
A branch doesn’t struggle or grunt for its yield.
It stays with the Vine, and the harvest is sealed.
Stay close to your Savior, clinging to his side.
Your fruit will grow juicy with nothing to hide.
So show off your apples and peaches so sweet.
Let grapes of God’s goodness roll out at your feet.
For fruit that is plenty, all shiny and bright,
Says, “Look at our Savior. He’s pure delight.”
When you bear much fruit, oh the joy you’ll release.
You’ll scatter God’s love like sparkling confetti of peace.
People who draw near will see something divine—
A disciple of Jesus, still fruitful and living in the Vine.
