When God whispers softly, “Will you obey?”
Don’t hesitate. You should say yes right away.
Each time you answer with faith, not with fear,
You’ll find that his blessings are drawing near.
His promises sparkle. They shimmer and gleam.
But they only come true when we pursue his dream.
They flourish like flowers when our hearts agree
That his plans are perfect for you and for me.
When Jesus said yes, although it led to the cross,
He conquered the grave and recovered our loss.
The door into glory swung open that day.
Because of his yes, our debts went away.
When life feels entangled, a confusing mess,
Don’t argue with God. Just answer yes.
For Heaven resounds when our hearts comply,
And God’s yes to us echoes loud from the sky.
When we match his purpose, our joy will expand,
As we walk with Christ by desire, not command.
Each promise fulfilled is his love on display—
For all of God’s yesses are answered his way.
