We spread the Good News as God has designed,
As messengers chosen with purpose aligned.
Some travel the country. Some teach in one place,
All strengthening Christ’s family by love and grace.
A prophet may preach and an evangelist teach.
A teacher may prophesy with lessons that preach.
The roles may look different, yet one thing is clear:
The Spirit unites them in God’s voice we should hear.
A pastor may shepherd with wisdom and care.
An apostle may guide with a vision to share.
Each part has its calling, but none stand alone.
Together they point us to Christ on the throne.
The overlap’s lovely. It’s part of God’s plan,
Not boxed into titles, but giftings for man,
For building the Body, the saints to equip,
To serve with his power, to love, and to grip.
So preach if you’re teaching, and teach if you preach.
Let prophecy flow where God’s Spirit will teach.
We’re one in the mission, though many the roles,
One family in Jesus, one purpose, one goal.
