Just talk to the Lord. He is eager to hear.
With praises and prayers, give your worries away.
He’ll cover your heart with his peace every day.
This peace is a gift that the world cannot see.
It settles your spirit, and it sets your mind free.
Through Jesus, you know everything will be all right.
His calm will surround you, both by day and by night.
Don’t worry or fret about what lies ahead.
Take all of your cares to the Lord, instead.
You don’t need to carry your burdens alone,
For Jesus will shoulder the weight as his own.
With thanksgiving, let your heart’s voice be heard.
He listens. He answers, and he honors his Word.
His peace will surround you, a gift from above,
A calm you can’t fathom, wrapped in his love.
