I’ve handed out cards by the thousands, it’s true,
But not many folks came a-calling anew.
They might have some value. I know that they do.
Yet I wonder if something is missing, don’t you?
Should my card have a QR code they can see,
Which leads to something that I offer for free?
A blog or a signup, a resource to share,
A treasure of value to show that I care?
I don’t want to push for book sales anymore.
I’d rather give books and just open the door.
For helping others is helping me too.
It’s joy in giving that carries me through.
