I can’t see it nor is it something to touch—
But faith, don’t you know, believes just as much.
It hops over logic and zooms through the air,
Trusting in a promise that isn’t yet there.
While eyes like to see and hands like to feel,
Faith takes a step when it doesn’t look real.
No map in my pocket, no sign on the way—
But faith says, “Keep walking. You’re fine. Just obey.”
When mountains are foggy, and skies are all gray,
Faith builds a rainbow and dances away.
It’s hope with a helmet. It’s trust on a string.
It’s leaping and landing with joy as we sing.
You might say, “Prove it,” or “Where is the clue?”
But faith doesn’t need something in plain view.
It clings to God’s Word, and that’s more than enough—
When life gets confusing, when journeys get tough.
So when you feel doubtful, don’t panic or run.
Just whisper, “I trust you,” and walk with the Son,
For faith isn’t blind. It sees from the heart,
And that, my good friend, is the very best start.
