If you trust with your heart and you trust with your soul,
If you trust when you’re young and trust when you’re old,

Complete is the trust that won’t wiggle or sway,
Clinging to God’s love at the start of each day.
It grows through the troubles, the trials, the tests—
And knows that God’s plan is always the best.
You may not see clearly, or know where to go,
But trust him completely, and soon you will know:
Your soul will be safe, yes, saved through and through—
Because you know his Word is every bit true.
So dance when it’s raining. Rejoice when it’s rough.
Your faith is enough when the going gets tough.
Trusting in Jesus, with heart, mind, and soul,
Will carry you straight to the heavenly goal.
