If you want to live in Heaven, enjoying the prize,
With bright shining crowns and no more goodbyes,
Then stand firm in faith. Don’t wobble or sway.
Keep trusting in Jesus, come what may.
Don’t quit when it’s hard or when things go all wrong.
Don’t abandon your faith when the wait seems too long.
Keep holding his hand when the night’s dark and deep,
For his promises will stand, his forever to keep.
The end may seem far, and the road may be tough,
But God gives us strength when we feel not enough.
Let’s march on with courage. Don’t wink or pretend.
