Oh yes, it is true. Oh. It’s wonderfully true.
God made a promise: He’ll take care of you.
Not just because you’re lovely or kind,
But because of a plan he’s already designed.
Through Jesus, his Son, he’s made you his own.
You’ll never be lost, never left all alone.
When troubles come knocking, and fears start to grow,
Remember his love, how he won’t let you go.
He’ll walk right beside you through thick and thin.
With Jesus your Savior, you’re family—his kin.
Whether you’re happy, or whether you’re blue,
God will surely take care of you. Yes, it’s true.
You don’t have to earn it, yet there a race to be run.
It’s started and finished through the work of the Son.
So dance and rejoice, giving him praise,
“I’m safe in his arms for all of my days.”
