Thriving When God’s Guiding

You must be careful to do everything that the Lord God has instructed, never wavering to the right or left. Stay on the path God has laid before you. Then you will live and prosper, blessed with a long life in the land you possess. — Deuteronomy 5:32–33 The Discussion Bible

If you know him by name and you walk in his light,
If you stick by his side through the day and the night,
If you talk with the Lord and you follow his way,
There’s no need to panic, no reason to stray.

No mountain’s too massive, no storm is too loud,
No enemy frightens, no fear draws a crowd.
For the One who made stars, who told oceans “Be still,”
Will walk right beside you through valley and hill.

Oh sure, you may stumble, your plans may collapse—
But that’s not a failure; it’s one of God’s maps.
He reroutes your road when you’re missing the turn,
And teaches you lessons you still need to learn.

You’re never alone when you walk with the King.
He strengthens your steps and gives courage to sing.
So hold to his hand when the pathway feels steep,
For he shepherds your soul and gives rest when you sleep.

The world may say, “Fail.” when your dreams fall apart—
But success isn’t measured by charts or by art.
It’s knowing the Lord and staying in grace—
That’s winning the race at a heavenly pace.

So fear not the trials, the tests, or the tale—
With God by your side, you never will fail.
Not in what matters, not deep in your soul—
For he is your portion, your purpose, your goal.
