The Lord gives people his strength deep and true,
Like roots in a storm or the sky when it’s blue.
When trouble comes roaring or panic sets in,
He quiets your heart with his peace from within.
He doesn’t just leave us on our own to stand tall.
He calms all the noise and helps our worries grow small.
His peace is a blanket that covers the soul,
It quiets the storm and makes the heart whole.
He blesses with courage, and he blesses with rest.
He gives what we need, and he gives us his best.
When the world spins too fast and you can’t find your way,
He whispers, “Be still,” and brings peace to your day.
So walk with the Lord through the fire or the rain.
